Jharkhand Gov. To Transform Ranchi into Next IT Hub with TCS, Infosys, Google & More In 5 Years

Ranchi IT Hub
The Jharkhand government is preparing to give a big boost to the state’s economy by turning Ranchi into a major IT hub, just like Bengaluru and Pune. For this project, the government has set aside 100 acres of land where top IT giants such as TCS, Google, Wipro, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra may soon establish their corporate offices.

Aiming for 50,000+ Jobs in Jharkhand
According to officials from the Information and Technology Department, talks are already in progress with leading Indian and American tech companies. Once established, these offices are expected to create more than 50,000 direct jobs for the youth of Jharkhand. Additionally, over 1 lakh people will benefit indirectly through opportunities in the hotel industry, transport, real estate, and other service sectors.
New IT Policy to Attract Global Players
The Jharkhand government has also launched a new IT policy to attract global investors. This policy includes tax benefits, better infrastructure support, and skill development programs for the youth. Special training centers will be introduced to help students and job seekers get ready for high-paying IT careers.
Ranchi & Jamshedpur: Future Technology Centers
With this ambitious plan, Ranchi and Jamshedpur are expected to become the next big IT destinations of India. The government believes that once big IT companies set up their offices, Jharkhand’s economy will grow rapidly, creating more business opportunities and boosting overall development.
A Boost for the State’s Economy
Apart from jobs in the corporate sector, this initiative will also increase demand for hotels, transport, housing, and local businesses. Experts believe that this step will not only reduce migration of youth to other states but also make Jharkhand an emerging powerhouse for IT and innovation in India.
